I was getting a DNS lookup error at work today (about 1pm) but could access it on my iphone so assumed it was just a problem with the work system as I couldn't ping the site either
Didn't try after that until I got home and it worked fine

During a server upgrade this morning (not the Saxperience server by the way), the some DNS settings were accidentally removed by the DC staff. These have been corrected however it will take a little while for things to return to normal.
Many people will browse Saxperience without noticing anything wrong, whereas others may not be able to access the site for a few hours. This all depends on your ISP and how they cache their DNS records.
Apologies for the disruption, the cause is being investigated.

The DC work started at 8PM yesterday, so anytime from then until now you may have lost access depending on your ISP.
Most people would not have suffered the problem, just luck of the draw as to when your ISP updates their DNS records.
It still should not have happened though, I am sorry for the inconvenience. I have taken the matter up with the DC.

Got to say, I have not been able to get onto sax p at all today, up until about 9.30 pm.
Strange as our interweb connection is good.

Read post 12 mate, twas a DNS issue
Each ISP use their own DNS servers, which will auto update at specified time intervals. Chances are, yours picked up a different IP address for the site and it took a while for their DNS server to update and find the correct one
