Next beat - Dj equipment
Had a couple of these in at work on friday, think they are there on permanent loan.
Had one DJ use it, quite franly its a pretty trick bit of gear. Everyone in the booth was more interested in this than the 6 CDJ-2000s.
The nextbeat can be removed from the dock and taken around, so fantastic for a live performance and interaction with the crowd.

Is this the one that will allow you to mix across just one track before having to return to the decks?

I guess so, I didnt get a play with it.
Plenty of stuff should be on the site.
I may go in early this weekend and see if I can have a wee play in the box

I like the novelty factor of it, but I think it's just that - a novelty

I think it will become very popular, much like ableton is these days.
Its got some good features (apparently) and as alot of artists are trying to create more of a 'live' show after people like deadmau5 have done then there will be quite a bit of use for it.
I dont think its that new though, our techie said theres a launch for it coming up apparently.
