iPod guys. help me.
Haven't used my ipod for a little while, going to take it to cex later but when I try to turn it on all I'm getting is this:
Like it's connected to iTunes.
It isn't even connected to the computer..

have you tried to connect it to the computer?

It was connected to the computer, and this started happening then I took it out the computer and it carried on
I'm too old for this technology. Sigh.

hold menu and middle button for about 10 seconds to reset it, should work.

Is that what it means? It started doing it while it was connected to itunes, trying to restore. I thought that meant it WAS connected to itunes.
iTunes isn't recognizing it anymore.

as said, normally to fix it you hold the home and power button for ages. should hard restore the ipod

Ended up putting it into recovery mode and connecting to my moms pc, freshly installing iTunes downloading 4.2.1 again and restoring from there.
Thanks for the help.
