kindle or kobo? - Saxperience

After last couple of holidays mrs has seen everyone with readers round pool she can read 5-6 books on holiday with all weight to carry them I said i'd buy her a reader she wasnt sure at first but has said yes to one. It our anniversary next month so going to get her one anyone got experience with them fella at works told me to get kindle but sister has said get kobo. Suppose kobo may be better because sister has given me her account details so can download what she has.

Which one is better?

If i got a kindle would the downloads from kobo work on it?

been on a kindle and although I don't really read I have to admit that the sceen is epic and the whole thing is really fast and lightweight and lasts without being charged for a month. Kindles can use word files, txt and pdf as well as the ones you download from the store,

got my mrs a kindle for xmas she loves it.

As do all her friends who now have them.
