Surround Sound Recommendations?

Thinking of getting a 5.1 speaker system for my living room, it's a large room & will be running through a 42" sammy, it's also connected to a ps3 and a virgin tivo box.

I've looked at which but they seem to be more focused on the higher end stuff.

It would be awesome if I could get some with a wood finish, if not then black would be acceptable.

Only after an entry level system, budget of around £300

any suggestions?

On a budget I'd say look at onkyo and yamaha amps.

cheers I've seen and heard some dcent onkyo stuff

One of my mates just acquired one last week, well impressed especially with the near futureproof HDMI connections, decent amp stages and very powerful sound quality, features etc. I would defo recommend.
