Vista - Nice 'report'
I'm not usually a huge fan of HardOcp but this new feature is right on the money. Sure it's just opinion and conjecture but it makes interesting reading... http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...50aHVzaWFzdA==

From the first page it sounds like the other million reports on vista being a lacklustre rip off of other OS. Which essentially it is, except other OS can actually finish a product before releasing it to the general public instead of making us the real beta testers

I certainly wouldn't pay money for it. I had all the betas and i can honestly say it got worse everytime.
Just gotta hope for a hacked DX10 so I can play the newer games when they arrive because, right now, that's all Vista has going for it.

Only seen 2 screen shots and read page one of that report.
I dare all of you to get of you windows is better horse and go into a mac store and spend 20-30mins having a play on a mac.
Its not until a few months after owning one that you start to uncover the extra features, and then you continue to carry on learning from then on. They truly are a far superior OS.

Yeah they are good very good, had a play one one in Toys R Us of all places (had to wait around for a movie to start) one thing i find with macs though is they are costly
It was the same with xp, it was crap when it came out, full of holes and the sp1 came out which was eve worst, then about a year later they all sorted it. So to be safe i'll be getting vista in a year or two when you need it.
As for now i am happy with xp, I had to do a report on vista in college and to be as a home user there isn't much to make me want to move over.

Vista is just the DRM software most record and movie owners have been waiting for!
I don't want to feel pressured into moving to that POS although I'm sure i will sooner or later.
