Being allowed to delete own for sale threads!
Think deleting own for sale threads. An example of this would be a few of my for sale threads getting deleted due to there being 3-4 separate threads, however some are months old and no longer relevant. other forums allow thread creators to remove threads so why not?
I understand that this may be done to 'hide' incorrect descriptions of items etc however it would save work for moderators and keep the for sale threads to a minimum?!

I've asked but they don't want to lose there power I've had countless threads deleted where if they ha deleted my old threads I would have been sticking to the rules but because they have failed to see that my old item had already sold they just went ahead and deleted my new sale items

Just edit the title to "sold".

Nothing to do with 'power'.
After having so many people scammed on car forums over recent years its best if people do not have the power to hide their own dodgy behaviour.

I dont thinking they need to be deleted whatsoever, or at least for a year or two.

Easy to hide your own tracks if you're trying to scam people.

This is what they've got on a few forums I frequent. Works best imo as it deters scammers. Then again just changing the title to have 'sold' in it works just as well..
