Default loud clicking/clanking noise

i have a loud clicking/clanking noise when my car is running.. when i dip the clutch the noise stops completley... any ideas?

sounds like thrust bearing in clutch

cheers, is this an expensive/ hard thing to fix?
i recently had a new clutch would this be part of something he did/didnt do

yea the thrust bearing is part of the cluth kit sounds like he's not fited it propley or it has come away from the relese fork and is ratleing on the spring plate will be a gearbox off job to fix
