Default Rockercover gasket?

So my rocker cover needs a repaint and under the rubber there is a little pool of oil.

Its a 1600 8v block in a phase 1 saxo from 99.

So when i am going to repaint the rocker cover i want to replace my rocker cover gasket. I can only find this style of gasket which goes around the block right?

a new gasket would be good --but most likely problem is that where cover bolts down over tightening has depressed where the nuts fit ,and so now it will not put enough pressure on gasket
remove cover hammer the fixings holes back up and then refit
should be spacers in there ,but these get lost and then cover bends when it is tightened down

same used to happen to old bmc engines like the "a+B" series --cure was the same straigthen cover

How do these spacers look like?
Not regular washers?

you can even bend cover if you get spacers in wrong place

should be deflector plate on first --then spacers -NOT drop spacers on studs ,then fit plate and drop cover on top
that will cause bend in cover
