I bought a black vtr few dents, dings and scratches etc for £400
It was a minor MOT failure which im getting back on the road. Dont really know what my plans are now. Just get it on the road and handling well.

I bought the car with the following mods :
ACE 15inch alloys
Magnex catback
Angel eyes
M3 mirrors
60mm drop all round
Tints all round
blue washer jets
kent cam and pulley
K&N filter and breather
Silver sprayed vents and center console



OK so the second i got it home i removed the M3 mirrors and went for my standard mirrors with white mirror caps
GTI-6 brakes
bonnet raisers
C2 Washer jets
White steelies
supersprint race system
sprayed chevrons white
de-wipered
quickshift
I have now fitted apex 40mm all round and raised the rear torsion up to match. Only have pictures with the rear raised at the moment.









So thats the car done for the time being.

Now hidden away in garage number 2 is the VTS engine to go in. I am/have been rebuilding it the last few months bit by bit.
I have played with the idea of sticking my cams and throttle bodies etc on it but decided to sell them and just stick with standard power. Times are tough so the added fuel costs and insurance isnt really worth the extra power at the moment.


So the vts engine
Replaced all bottom end bearing
Piston rings
water pump
oil pump
headgasket
headskim
de-coked
new belts
lightened and balanced flywheel
4-2-1 manifold
should be getting alternator pulleys on the group buy aswell
Rebuilt vts gearbox and gave it a clean
now im cleaning it and painting it
so far pulleys and rockers have been sprayed red









The parts on order list

Full poly race bushes
group n engine mounts
top and bottom strut braces
vts clutch
supersprint race centre
BMC CDA
New tyre for one of the steelies (just arrived)
standard headlights which has just arrived in the post whilst making this thread (will be smoking them black)
gear linkages



The worst thing is my car has been broken into twice in 3 weeks had dvd headunit and tools stolen over the two break ins

bonnet raisers have gone in the bin. i now have ..
tinted standard front lights
tinted indicators in the pipe line
all my rebuild bits for the vts lump are here so that will be done in a week or two
MOT on monday fingers crossed
All my poly race bushes are here
Top and bottom strut braces

going to have a fun weekend me thinks

thanks mate, yer just vts spare wheels sprayed white. i rushed one of them just to get it done and on the car so didnt get a perfect finish like the others

awesome.
still looks wicked though.
i have just had a photo shop done of my car, with 106 rally white steelies on. just need to get paid now so i can buy them.
