windows live messenger
I tried downloading windows live messenger (msn) it says its downloaded successfully, but cant find it anywhere on my computer. Ive tried control panel, add remove programs, start, search files, tried msn, windows live, messenger etc cant find it. In program files, theres a windows live folder, but only a writer folder is in there. No messenger folder or anything. When i try installing it again, theres a message saying You already have these items, and underneath is a list which messenger is included. Any way i can find it at all? When i try download an older version of messenger, it says you have a newer version of msn installed, there is no need to install these file. Or something like that

go on run and type
msnmsgr.exe
then press enter

go to your browser settings and see where the download destination is

ohh, i presumed he had installed it. If not then it might be in a hidden folder depending on which broswer your using.

Bump.
I have got the latest version of messenger and it always fucks about with signing me in, it never wants to do it and always launches up the trouble shoot, anyone else have this problem?

Are you on Vista?
Open command prompt as adminstrator and paste the following in and press enter:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
MSN will then sign in with no problems what so ever.
