Looking to get a New Laptop. Help?
Right, im looking to get a new laptop and want to spend between £300 and £400. But if it's worth it, i could stretch to £500 max.
It's only for home use... web browsing, iTunes and dowloading.
Must have:
- HDMI out, so i can plug it into my HD TV.
- At least 200GB Hard Drive for my music.
- Half decent Processor (No more Sempron or Celeron)
I'm thinking more like AMD Athlon or Pentium Duel Core.
- Would be nice to have one with Windows Media Center, to use with my
Xbox360..but not essential.
- Not looking for a massive screen, or high end graphics card as im not going
to be gaming on it.
So far im looking at Packard Bell:

And Sony Vaio:
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Or any experience with the above laptops

Oh yea, PC World are doing up to £100 smackers off any new laptop with Windows 7, if you trade in your old laptop. So you can minus £50-100 off PC World's prices.

Sony vaios suck, i mean really suck, had mine 2 years and the keysare dropping off, dvd drive is tempromental, wearing out around casing and the left mouse button doesnt work
inface when i got it, it had to be replaced 3 times before i got one that was ok lol, stay away from them
I just bought a dell xps m1730, me sister just got a basic dell and my word the build quality is awesome
As mieran said go on dell and check out their deals, they have them on all the time

IMO the brand for that money is probably HP, very reliable machines that is what we supply to our contracts at work.
But if you are willing to spend that bit more I would get this:

but dell, HP, asus, samsung are all decent
hiba used to be good but seem to be getting worse
