Default PS3 Slimline Bluray drive

How easy it is to fit a blu ray disk drive to a PS3 Slimline? I was wondering as I found a cheap PS3 for sale but needs one and I wont get it if the cost of repairs is too much!

Cheers

Easy if you know how to source parts and fit them. Otherwise part costs + labour + markup + VAT = buy a new one.

really easy! basically just dismantle the ps3 carefully, unscrew the blu ray, then it just comes free, replace, put back together.

there's guides on youtube on how to replace them.

a good video. Watch before you buy anything, to make sure you're capable of doing it.
