Syncing iPhone to a different computer

Hey guys and gals!

Need a bit of help with this one. Allbeit I'm usually good at this sort of thing.

The other half has her iPhone synced to her computer, cut a long story short, its pants and I am rigging my beast of a PC back up to use in replacement of hers.

Now my beasty PC has never had iTunes used on it other than installing it, no iPhone has ever been connected.

Is there any way I can sync her phone to my PC without her losing her apps/game progress/contacts/photos?

As she will kill me if I lose everything!

Tried to understand the iTunes website help about it but for some reason I am not understanding

I done my mates when he got a 4s his was registered to his brothers pc he didnt have one till now sure i just downloaded itunes then done a backup to itunes of his phone in one of drop menu's at top it says activate this computer for your account think you can do it on 5 computers. Sure someone can explain it better than me though
