was thinkin of chippin the vt but a friend tells me it will improve power but over time it will fuck up the car?? how does the chip work and is my mate right???

it advances the ignition timing. a complete waste of £300.

I think they can improve Turbo'd cars well, especially Turbo Diesels.

Not straight petrol cars though.

not all the time. depends how far you have gone with your engine. unless your standard ecu is having problems running your current engine spec then just leave it alone.
