you wouldnt believe it but i had a sticky brake caliper friday when it wanted to be run up again.
john repaired my caliper and gave up on the whole power run thing, as i wanted the car this weekend
i dont know an exact figure. the highest reading was 217@ wheels anything above 5,990 rpm was just wheelspin even john admitted "the grit stuff on the rollers isnt at its best". its 99% smooth
it goes very well, even more than expected. i think i was actually lost for words when i took it for my first drive.

spent 4 hours today cleaning the engine bay, finishing off some bits john left me to do (wiring, and fitting loose pipework).
it starts perfectly, the only gripe i have is it needs 3-4 full turns before she fires. andy please can you do anything to make the fuel pump prime before i turn the ignition?
drives well needs cruise range mapping for less fuel.
that 6paddle clutch is a pig to use haha.
must admit i have given it a decent run throught the gears. nothing too silly but shit me. it is quick.
here is some pictures both me and the mrs took today.
i tied the boost and afr gauge to the cage.
with the bonnet closed not much given away!

not a bad point actually. however id rather the ignition fire the pump upon the 2nd click of the key like it should.

Yeah. I guess it's just a tick box in the software but if not, it's an option to look at.

i have fixed the low battery charge rate... it was a grubby battery earth.
now the battery light isnt showing like it was before. it did glow brighter the more throttle i used. i wonder if it was not sparking strongly and there is more in it now?
also after a painful drive through cleethorpes today i noticed that the car wouldnt want to stall most of the time. i hope that issue is done with too.
can you believe there are no trackdays this B/H! f.king typical. i feel though that i need some time with the car pottering about making sure its reliable before i book track time.
i now have throttle bodies, cams, injectors, saxsport, 3kilo billet atspeed flywheel, alloy crank/alternator pully kit and a nissens radiator for sale
