Nobody can put Bic's car down imo..
Its quicker than any other N/A 1.6 Saxo or 106 on here..
Its the kind of spec that all of us performance minded people would love to have so it just cant be slated or whatever..
As for getting it off the line, i think i recall him telling me he did a 4.5 0-60, dont quote me on that though as it was a while ago..

everyones entitled to an opinion on it james. If you had been around before it was built you might understand why people feel the car has underperformed so far.

Does 0-60 reallllly matter that much?
Real fast cars do 0-60 in under 6 seconds imo.

my comments were constructive anyway, before people go on about the bic bashing.
If power figures and 1/4mile times are banged on about before things are built then if they dont hit them of course people will comment - hence refrence to vtr130.
lewis on ssc has gone the right way about his project imo, kept quite alot quiet and not commented on what the car will do. If his car does/doesnt perform he wont be left with egg on his face.

new spec no1 will know, as bic has a new engine, and has reduced the weight considerably. aswell as sorted out a few electronic issues by the sounds of it.

high profile cars can sometimes mean high profile disasters.
Think the way bic is going now though is alot better, using the higher spec engine and getting away from the exact maxi spec idea which was originally branded about. Will make alot more fun with the gearbox (as long as it can cope with the extra power) having his car for demo will also help the streamline business.

who also has a be3 gearbox and a 250bhp at the wheels supercharged engine
theres lots of different specs out there.
the original shell of bics was also heavy due to the complexity of the cage...
