Default Was Dreading This !

Just changed my clutch today. It all went on ok (or so I thought) and luckily getting the gearbox back on only took me and a trolley jack 25 minutes (I've got a clutch alignment tool so reckon that helped). Got all the leads / drivehafts etc back on , started the car and pushed in the clutch and got a nightmare of a noise which sounds like something rubbing against the pressure plate spines.

Reckon the bearing has falled off the fork and it's the fork thats hitting the splines so to say I'm mighty pissed off is the understatment of the year.

Why are these bloody things only just held on by 2 crappy little clips , it feels so loose when you come to refit , like its not on properly. I wouldn't even call em clips.

I even taped up the clutch lever so it couldn't move so christ knows how its managed to fall off.

Looks like I'm on it tomorrow - Think the phrase rhymes with Clucking Bell !

Cheers
