Loose Steering
Hi. So finally got my hands on a 52 reg Icelandic blue VTR it's a bit of a mess I have been sorting it bit by bit, I have found out it even has the wrong size tyres fitted! New tyres have been bought and are being fitted Friday. Now on my way home from work after a while on the motorway I noticed the car started to drift and the steering feels really loose and scary if I'm honest. It was doing it when I first purchased it but seemed to fade away. I recently changed both driveshafts and went around checking all the bolts and nuts and inflated all the tyres. These all seem totally fine. Any ideas please??

I would check the rear beam for play as well. It can give the feeling of vague steering and 'wandering' round corners when the bearings are shot

Hi guys, the loose steering has returned, I have noticed that the steering wheel has gone off centre and it all feels a bit dodgy? Lower arm maybe?
