Hey guys, i just won this item, do any of you guys think there ok or would you rather put a shaving mirror on your carlol

I think there cool, the pic shows an electronic one but iv requested a manual so the base plate will be diferent.
Does anyone have details or pics of any base plates? coz the seller has stated that i can pick from hundreds.
what would be the best or coolest? im keeping it black.
My winning bid was 16.99 and 8.00 p+p

Or i could have went for these, at 35.99 and 8.00 p+p

Why would the baseplates be different? Surely it has to be a baseplate to fit the saxo?
Don't keep them black, get them sprayed as the plastic dulls over time and looks shite.

THe base plates will be the same whether you get manual or electric... THe manual adjustment is made by moveing the actual mirror itself, not using a stalk inside the car like a VTR does.

Get em colour coded, theyll luk sooooooo much betta. Go 2 halfords n they can match any standard colours if you want to have a go yourself.

im looking at getting sum vts base plates to replace my old manual ones as the vts has got electric mirrors. where i have got after market mirrors, there is no need for the hole where the mirror mover went and the vts base plate are just smooth so will look good! i wud get em colour coded, will look a lot nicer than leaving them black, or if you are going to leave them black, spray them black so the colourdont fade

Maybe the seller was meaning that he has baseplates for all different cars ie: saxo, fiesta, civic etc. Then you choose which one you need for your specific car.

Spray it yourself Lee. I done mine a couple of days ago. Only , when it came around to fitting the buggers, they didnt fit !!
The universal ones are dodgy as hell. Didnt even line up properly and they would hang over the edge of the window bigtime aswell. Really id hav to modify them to fit, but will do that soon enough!

sand shit loads, loads of plastic primer grey, , sand again, primer again. Then let dry for a hour and a bit. Then colour. Let dry for few hours atleast. More colour, let dry overnight. Laquer, 1/2 layers, let dry for an hour. Spray from about 6/7 inches anf flow from left to right evenly. All good fun! LMAO
