do a SEARCH mate, this question's been asked loads before.
but there really is no point in tuning a 1.1. by the time you've spent money getting an exhaust, filter, cams, headwork, ecu remap etc, it soon exceeds the cost of dropping in a vtr lump. i would say leave it at an exhaust and filter, coz in reality a 1.1 is never gonna keep up with a vtr.

gets it converted to a 1.4. Mine is a 1.4, not as quick as MK2 VTR's (98bhp) , but its pretty close to the 90hp spec ones.

im a 1.1mk2 driver aswell, and although u get dicked on by VTRs and wateva else, dnt bother with engine mods, get crakin with the interior and sum subtle body mods and get it prepared for a VTR conversion wen cash flow and insurance is in your favour

Yea i agree, engine swap would be give you more BHP for your £££.
Plus you could keep it looking like a 1.1 but with the VTRs growl!!
