stay calm, if you know you have failed buy pulling out in front of the car, trying a little handbrake turn round a round about they love that.
Just stay calm and concentrate, nerves get to people that make them fail if your confident your be fine

Take your time, it's all about control and observation for your test, not how fast you get round the route.
Sounds silly, but don't let other thoughts or nerves stop you from remembering to read all signs, especially giveway/stop signs.

make sure u stop at stop signs and always be aware of wats goign on around u!
dont bother trying to talk to the grumpy bugger next to u cos u will loose concentration and they aint marking u on social ability! be polite to other road users that let u by and stuff cos this will make the grumpy bugger feel that u are appreciaitive of other road users!

i was well chilled out on my test, passed 1st time with only 2 minors, so anythings possible if you keep your cool ;P

Good luck with it though, I was so nervous before it...but once I was in and driving I just got on with it.
