Were do i stand? Betting slip
i put a bet on at coral today for liverpool , stoke , middlesbourgh (sp) + wigan to win. 9/1
I didnt no but they all played yesterday and won but the woman still put my slip through. So i have slip saying all the above teams to win £20.
So will they pay me out even though the teams had already played? Surley they must if i have the slip ?

Had a similar issue before where a team played one day but the bookies had it the next day - meaning I already knew who won, unfortunately I only had £70 at the time to spare, whapped it all on and with the odds being even, they paid out and I doubled my money... there mistake at the end of the day. Shame I didn't have more money at the time lol.

....but if you have put a bet on sports result where the event takes place on a certain date which would be clear to see from the betting slip, it doesn't matter what date the bet was put on, they should pay out.
Look at it this way, if you had got it wrong the day after, would they give you the money back? Answer: NO!

They can't void any accepted bets because of their own errors. They have to pay you, date doesn't mean a thing.

thats why they have people behind the counter to run it through, theres no way of knowing it was put on the day after! other wise they wouldnt have put it through in the first place! their mistake your win!
