Cheers - Yeah agreed, I just want to be careful not to go to low, I think 45mm all round is about right for looks and to maintain decent handling of the car

If you don't fancy modding too much, here's a few cheap solutions that won't really decrease it's value/increase the value:
Smoke the headlights, fogs and buy mk1 rears.
Spray rear badges black (Take a look at preds or mine)
Change the aerial, I need to do mine tbh.
As for leather interior? GTI? Or otherwise, price range matey? I picked mine up fairly cheap from Leicester over ebay and it's in pretty good nick.
I've seen your car about once or twice (the sticker in the rear window)
Is your drivers door slightly bent? In one of the pics it looks as though it's sticking out, may just be me though.

Alright Sean, thought about smoking the headlights! would look good idd. Not sure about doing the badges though, will have a look at a few pics then decide!
As for the leather interior, been keeping an eye on eBay for anyone a selling a GTI interior but no luck yet, had a bloke on here saying he can do retrims for 600 quid or something, yet to decide tbh......
Aerial, yes! going to go soon, barely picks up radio stations at all I presume this is a common problem?
Saxperience window stickers going on this weekend
Yeah the bottom of the drivers side door is slightly bent outwards, something I'll sort out along the line...........
furiomike, they were like that when I brought the car, does add a nice touch!
Getting my car lowered at the start of next month so I'll post pics once done, will look much better! Just brought an OMP upper strut brace aswell

Nice exhaust same as mine, they sound very nice and deep, even in low gears, car is coming along nicely, maybe you could de-wiper,smoke headlights/fogs.. just some ideas that dont cost alot of money , good luck and car is looking clean though.
