Default Strange Brake question here

Hi guys,
Might sound like a strange question but I have a guy in work who has a saxo and was just saying something about its brakes.
He said that the way the brakes work is that it only has front ones, The rear is one the handbrake one.

Can this be right? Surely it has back back too

Its possible mate but he would have had to have done it himself. Rear brakes dont do much of the braking, around 15% ish, but you shouldnt get rid of them

while the front brakes do much of the work to keep the car balanced you need the rear ones to be working as well
