selling my saxo 1,1 in march and thinking of a starlet or R5gtt, i will be working a fair distance but will be a mechanic apprentship so should be able to sort any problem out, if not me my employer. are the starlets reliable cars and how do they perform same with the R5gtt

both cars will drink but i would go for a glanza 2bh, R5gtt can be really unreliable.

i was going to say that almost word forword....
glanza anyday... but if you are travelling a fair way to work maybe get something a lil less thirsty?
1.1 upto either of those cars is quote some step mate....
would you not rather take some middle ground? and have you looked at insurance?

i love the glanza's only thing i dont like is the insurance group  get a nice white one, ive been looking at these too

You will need to ring an insurance company that specialises in jap imports
When i was looking at getting a glanza, Adrian Flux wanted £1700 TPFT, i was 21 with a years no claims....most other insurance companies had never heard of it or refused to insure me.

i just tried bell and that model wasnt there, so i guess would have to search around abit to get insured on one, i will be 21 soon with 3 years no claims

unless you know what your talk about then please dont assume
starlets can depend on mpg
mine is/was around 200 bhp
drive it tidy and i was getting 36 mpg
if you think thats bad then there is sum thing majourly wrong

well i intend to get one or the other in march as i get a bonus then leaving the company, also i will have 2 years no claims and be 19. I just really dont no if there worth 4500 for a p reg car, i know dont get me wrong there awesome motors but for another 2 grand get yourself a ST but see how the cash goes, Japman what shape starlet did you own

curruntly awaiting full forge set up though
i agree with you in away abotu the cost,but lets me onhest,i wouldnt spend the extra 2k on an ST,they are shit

AGREED, what insurance group is yours mate, i am really consdering getting your shape looks more aggresive and any trouble reliablity wise
