106 GTI Exhaust?
Found an exhaust forsale but its for a 106 GTI, Will it fit on 51plate VTR? Anybody know?

wont sit in the recess, as most 106 exhausts sit under the rear bumper

It will fit but not into the arch thats already cut on the VT bumper, it'll hang slighty right of the arch and undernearth the bumper

Because the exhaust im after is £390ish on kam-racing.
I looked on ebay and found one for a 106GTI for £100 less..

Have you seen what resale values you could get on a 106 website?
May be worth picking it up, selling it for profit and then buying the proper one?

I've looked at the pictures on both sites and they look exactly the same. But then i sent the ebay business a email to check and he said "no it wont fit"  ..

Buy the exhaust, use the centre section. Sell the backbox and then buy a saxo one?

Hmm i reckon your first idea was best Dan,
I'll see what the resale value is.
I've never used 106owners before i dont think =\
I'll buy it, try it on, if it doesn't fit, sell it to a 106 owner.
