Phase 1 VTR boost project

Hi guys, i bought myself 2 saxo's a couple of weeks ago, a 2001 1.4 furio and 98 vtr. the furio has been stripped for parts - full stainless exhaust twin exit, omp front strut brace, braided front brake lines, gearbox and afew other bits.

today i finished fitting bits on to the vtr apart from front lines, just got to pick up and fit a rear caliper and new handbrake cables and it can do threw an mot. will post up pics shortly.

the next thing im looking at is either a turbo or supercharger conversion, just deciding which at the moment

Well make sure you update us all, want to see as many turbo VTRs as I can for info and inspiration.

quick update, been de-chavving the vtr, fitted strut brace, gearbox, full stainless system with decat, rear bumper, filled lower gearbox mount, changed oil and filter, drained and refilled coolant system.

thursday night i should be re-wiring the starter motor and firing her up. once shes running ive got a set of magnacore ht leads ready to fit. also got to fit a rear caliper on the near side, a set of rear pads and 2 rear handbrake cables and then shes pretty much ready for an mot.
also got a 10,000k hid kit in the post for my dipped beam, will also be ordering a 4300k (yellow) hid kit for my front fog lights closer to the end of the month

got my hid kit in the post today but wont be fitting them til after the mot as they will delete my high beam.

i have decided im going to run with a supercharger conversion using a charger from a merc, 2.5 inch intercooler pipe work. depending on how much extra work i get out of hours, i may buy the charger before xmas, if not it will be early in the new year.

tried firing her up, got her turning over but no spark, thinking crank sensor
