thoughts on c2's? *updated post 19-the test drives!*
right, ive started looking at C2's, specifically the petrol vts. similar price for fully comp as my saxo is tpft where a saxo vts is a fair bit more!
as fun as my vtr is i fancy something newer quieter comfier yet faster and still on a par with the saxo's handling. is the c2 vts noticeably quicker than the saxo vtr, whats the handlung like andare there any common faults?
cheers

Pretty average as Driver's cars, but good on fuel, insurance and general running costs.

they arn't really quicker than a sax vtr basically on par. There ok but at the end of the day you could probably get alot nicer car if you looked at other similar options

Ummm, well you wanted something newer, quieter, comfy, and around the same pace and not bad handling some obvious ones could be
Clio 172
Alfa 147
mark 4 golf
Seat Ibiza
all look better imo aswel

well today i test drove a vts in wicked red and a vtr in bright yellow, both around 20k miles. the vts felt slower than the vtr and had a strange whistle coming from the engine bay that went in time with the revs which lead me to believe it was fucked, and the vtr interior looked like it had done 120k+ with a worn to fuck steering wheel, paint worn off the gearknob and buttons and bits of trim falling off!
that flappy paddle gearbox was shocking on the vtr, nice hesitation gear change but still pretty fun to drive because of it!
vts looked really nice in the flesh, really liked the interior and as standard it handled really well it was firm yet comfortable.
think im on the lookout for a decent vts now
