Default furio to vtr

iv bought a vtr to go in my furio. the vtr is all bolted in but it wont start and iv had nothing but problems with it. the vtr is a single plug ecu model and my furio is a 3 plug. iv been told i have to get the ecu unlocked and loads of stuff. what do i actualy need to do to get it working properly?

wont work unless you change the interior looms or get splicing,

you would have needed the later 98bhp engine i think.

im assuming yours is the 90 as its single plug.

as far as i know be easier just to swap to 98bhp engine and loom.

buy a 3 plug loom. . . .

How have you managed to connect the engine loom to the main car loom? As i can imagine that the plugs are different sizes.

yes . . . . 3 plug loom - am usure as to whether the old engines work with the 3 plug looms.

Engine conversions are covered on here a lot and the same principles stand across the range of engines. . .

My thoughts exactly. They should be different sizes and not plug together.

Youll need your ECU unlocking if your using a different Key, transponder barrell to the car that the vtr engine came from.

Also a later triple plug interior loom. Dont know how youve done it lol.

my brother in-law cut off the round plug near the battery and matched the wires (wanker lol) so do i just need to get a 3 plug loom or the 3 plug engine aswell as the loom?
