Biohazard
This sounds totally retarded, even coming from me, but is it ok to drive around in a vehicle which has biohazard stickers on it, even if there is no hazzard or would the local bizzies not be best happy?

Aparantly, according to internetz, the Biohazardous stickers are now all orange.
so the old style yellow ones would be perfectly legal
rat look?

It would be legal, but may cause confusion, especially in a possible crash. Also police may also stop and question you as to why you were carrying corrosive materials in a hatchback

Inertestingly enough....
I did a SCATS course the other week. It's basicly a safety competency course.
Whilst we were discusing the obsurdaties of modern day health and saftey rules a guy at the back piped up and said that he worked for a company that callibrated geiger counters and other radioactive sensing devices. All the time he's been doing the job he's by law HAD to display a radioactive sticker on his car so that in the event of a crash the police and fire etc know what he's carrying.
At the begining of this year he was pulled over by armed police and told he should remove the sticker as it may draw undue attention to the fact he's got radioactive stuff that terrorists may be able to use as a dirty bomb.
He rang his company who then complained to the local bobbies who in return sent them a letter from a court stating that all the company vehicles were now to remove the stickers on Anti-Terrorism law grounds!
He said it wouldn't be SO bad but you wouldn't be able to get enough radioactive material out of his entire companies fleet of engineers stocks to make anything remotely dangerous let alone a "dirty-bomb"!!
I know how he feels too cos we carry some types of smoke detectors that have a radioactive source in them but there TINY, you can hardly pick them up with a normal geiger counter!
If that isn't over the top i don't know what is but i'd deffo have a look into it before just sticking a "legal" notice on your car first.
Best bet might be to stop at the local butty van where the traffic bobbies get there brecky and ask them what their views would be.
Sorry for the long post, hope it's of some amuzement.

If the letter came from the police, his company would have been better to seek legal advice. As the police are not legalally allowed to issue a court notice, this has to be done by a court balif.
If a car/van/lorry carrys any type of equipment that may be of a radioactive nature, have to legally show signs of notification. One for being if you are involved in an accident, then the local fire brigade can be protected no matter what level it is. A company can be sued for hundreads of thousands if not correctly stated the type of material they carry. This is the same when carrying anything corrosive.

Lol that anit terrorism things pathetic. You can make bombs out of chemicals from the post office, and a 'dirty bomb' from disposable cameras and microwaves so I very much doubt theyd go to the trouble of armed robbery lol

Like Goodall asked -why do you try & prove everyone wrong?
Seems like everytime i read a post of ur's its directly contradicting someone else's & pretty much saying that it's wrong/shit.
Which has led to you getting flamed iirc in 1 or 2 threads
