engine swap times
whats the quickest anyone has changed a vts engine? aiming to do mine in 3 hours tomorrow night

if i'd used the right bits i could probably have done it in not much longer than that. the actual removal of one engine and slotting in the other took me all of about 10 minutes. plumbing it back in putting everything back togther should take an hour or so if you work fast

i need to remove mani's and starter etc from my old engine aswell. giving myself and hour to get it out, hour to swap and hour to refit.

Depend how setup you are with your kit. also if swapping from vtr-Vts will take longer than vts swap in/out Obviously. If everything is ready at a arms length then shouldn't take too long Seriously pushing it on your own for 3 hours. good luck
Took two of us 6 hours for the full conversion and that was going for it. Were a few problems though.

removed a running vtr and fitted vts engine to running spec minus in 2hours and 48mins

I did mine out swapped steering rack removed pas painted bay rewired twin fans and painted one of them lump removed abs and in and cranking in 8 hours
had a fuel pump issue though
