ecu will defo need unlocking, not too certain in the conversions as i havent done a vtr to s conversion myself but youll defo need an unlocked ecu, should have done it before you removed the engine, and change your titl

The 'key light' means the immobiliser is engaged, stopping the engine from starting.

you need a fuel return line - if you search on here theres a good guide on fitting one.
Tanks are the same size - just the configuration of the fuel lines thats different
You can keep all your keys, barrel etc. Just need an unlocked ECU and immobiliser box - have a search on here for where the immobiliser box is located

You could use all the stuff out of the vts, Pickup ring, transponder chip barrel key etc in the car to unlock the ecu, then remove immobiliser box while ignition on the put all the original kep parts back on. Will save £60.

i had excatly the same problem last week.
its two wires a green and a yellow one..
they go into the fuse box.
pull the fuse box bit out and pall the yellow clip out abit.
the wires will only fit in the certian sockets.
they power the fuel pump and injectors!
