Well guys, it's been a while since i started a thread or even actually replied to a thread, and as a few have asked i thought i'd discuss my where abouts!
I have moved house, to live with the girlfriend, and have been working hard n the house, have had BB for a while but it's finding the time. It has however brought a run of bad luck with it, and it's TRES annoying!
on to more interesting things...my new car!!!! I am still currently selling my car (for sale section) and advertsigin it left right and centre...next month is ebay month! I have however purchased an audi A3 1.9 TDI se (red I) which has been great to play with.
BUT, it's a fucker, turbo lag on the a3 is shite, and just not performing as i wanted. (i am looking at a chip but want to see what else there is first) had all my 'mod' ideas sorted until yesterday, when the whole thing decided to go tits up.
When driving home from alexandra palace watching the Darkness perform, the temp guage went mental and got very hot!!! STEAM - CHECK!!!! Rising temp - CHECK!!!! time for the green flag - CHECK
So that's the car ont he back of a truck, which has since been diagnosed with a FCUKED head gasket!
Had it one month exactly once it had gone wrong. Unbelievable. So am in the process of bloody well sorting that through warranty.
To top it all off, i'm signed off work with tonsilitis aswell! GREAT FUN! so i feel poo too.
so how are you guys, seen lots of bitching on the forum and that has made me raise my teacher eyebrow at a few names!
Glad FCS is booked up, can't wait....saxo or no saxo!

That sound a bit like my resnet months mate.
Me and Louise moved in to our new house 4 weeks ago and I have been up to my neck in DIY etc... also been trying to sort out 3 cars to get them ready to be sold. Sorry to hear about your A3 going wrong so quickly.... I had the same problem with my FTO... I had the alternator/power steering pulley sheared off the bolt and took 3 belts along with it at 80mph... that happened 6 days after buying the car.
Hope the house is going well anyway mate!
Chris

LOL... so far I have done: -
Stripped the wallpaper in the living room.
Removed the large oak mantel piece and matching mirror.
Removed old Gas fire.
Installed new Electric fire.
Put full length mirror on the wall in the bedroom.
Painted the bathroom walls 3 white and 1 black.
Put up a hotel style towelrail.
Changed the taps on the sink.
Changed the taps on the bath.
Put up a new shower curtain.
Put a New Bathroom cabinet on the wall.
Put new bathroom light in.
Put new light in the diningroom.
Painted undercoat on the diningroom walls.
Few other bits and bobs too..... so I've been busy busy busy!
Hard work isn't it.... working all day and then going home and working again.
Chris

alright oz! Long time, no talk.
How your feeling better within the next couple of days.
I highly recommend the Asda Smart Price Ice lollies, or the Tesco Value
ones. 49p for 10! They are awsome!! Plus they will make your throat fell
better!
Sorry to hear about the A3, bit of a fucker! I had my tyre slashed outside
the pub on my car the other day. Then on Friday the key fucked up and
have to get a new one sorted today. Got an exam tomorrow too !!
Hows the house going in general? I'm still looking to buy one round here,
got a viewing tomorrow before my exam !!!

NICE!!!!
will try those lollies maybe, although tesco is closer!
can't be arsed to leave the house though. One of those days you know.
Gonna watch wallace and grommit now. Should be relaxing!
Just put an aerial up in my loft, and now have a near perfect picture on my tv! About to hook up the stereo sytem to get full surround sound, it's a bonus having tonsilitis i tell thee.
need to cut lawn too, but i think that can wait!

....Are you a teacher then oz?? I'm teacher-training at the moment!
Sorry about the A3 - hope the garage sort it all out for you quickly! I always thought they were such nice cars too, what a disappointment!
Anyway, glad to hear from you - was wondering where you'd got to!

Wow, a fellow teacher!!
Dunno about you but i keep wanting to correct people's grammar and spelling on these forums!
Like i said, i'm only in my first year of primary traning but i think i prefer KS2 kids rather than 6-7yrs, going into a year 4 class for my placement this summer....if i ever need any advice about teaching i know who to PM!!
If your A3 is being sorted under warranty i'd stick with it.... decent ones are hard enough to come by anyway! Surely by chopping and changing cars you'll end up losing a lot of money...
