Default Trying to drive Eco friendly :(

Seeing as petrol prices are so high at the moment ive decided to try a bit of Eco driving, things like not accelerating so hard and skipping gears when i can. And generally not just ragging my car about haha, has anyone else tried doing this or has anyone got any extra tips.

There is a thread somewhere about how to maximise your mpg and save fuel. its very detailed.

I try and not use the brakes on my car when I can but I cant resist the right pedal sometimes...

i find i take more risks at roundabouts where i can stay in fifth gear, because i just try and stay at a speed where i dont have to change gear and just go straight across the roundabout without braking lol

Make sure your tyres are the correct pressure, take anything out the car you dont need. And i only put in half a tank at a time as the extra weight of a full one just burns petrol quicker

I drive 'eco' most of the time these days... I get bored at some points and have a little play but generally drive like a grandad.
