Default Cleaning 16v VTS engine

Getting my vts engine on sunday to do 16v conversion on my vtr
its being delivered obviously out of the car so thought would be best time to give it a good clean up. Anyone got any advice on what products to use (if any) and best ways to go about it? would be much appreciated!
cheers!

try gunk and let it soak in for about half a hour for the heavy dirt then use something like

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine.../prod_191.html

to go ov er after after those 2 your engine will be pretty much clean enough to eat off.
