my 106 project
hey all, thought id decide to show my current project
Bought a 106 xsi end of march this year, just to have some fun with.
was MOT failure on ball joint, drop links, cv boots, emissions, trackrod end and rear wheel bearing which ended up not being the bearing, whoever did the brakes never tighted the nut up properly
Since ive had it
Welded up the rot holes
strightened inner wing a bit better
Made a saxo crossmember fit on the front (been a cat c write off in the past and was repair crap)
Removed most interior
306xsi front brakes
replaced most the mot failures
fitted some cheap bucket seats off a friend (bit tatty but cant complain for £20)
cleaned up under the inner wings and undersealed
polyrace bushes round the front
dewipered rear
vtr wheels
gti nissens rad (bargin at £10)
gti mirrors
raceland 421
theres probably more but ive forgot but time for some pics
next up
fit exhaust when it comes
sort out heater matrix as its started leaking
polyrace bush the rear
underseal underneath
tidy up inside
white vtr wheels
MOT, TAX and Insurance
Enjoy
