Default Best Tar Remover

Hi all, I dont normally wash my cars, but I've been keeping on top of it lately.

On the last clean theres alot of quite big blobs of tar stuck to my car (theres a lot of roadworks at the minute).

The only way I can get them off at the minute is using my fingernail, which is time consuming, painful on the nail and I'm sure isnt doing my paintwork any favors.

Whats the best tar removing product on the market that you guys would recommend? I need something that requires little elbow grease as I'm just not that dedicated.

Cheers all!

Autosmart Tardis every day of the week.

Available from your local AS Rep, or Polished Bliss, or in smaller 'sample' sizes on ebay.

But trust me, get the 5 Litres cause you'll go through shed loads of it when you see how good it is.

Am I going to have to scrub hard though? Or will it just melt it off?

What kind of cloth should I be using? Will a microfibre be ok? Or too abrasive?

Can't get it from halfords bud, ebay, polished bliss or your local autosmart rep.

Cheapest from the rep for 5 litres.

I spray it on, after the car has a thorough wash. Try not to leave the car soaking wet before applying the tardis else it will just go all milky and won't penetrate the tar.

Wipe the tar and excess away with a MF once you see the tar starting to dissolve.

I normally use Preptone from autosmart, Always thought tardis was for removing fallout from paintwork.
