Default bumper i've been working on

well i started smoothing this bumper, plastic welded up the fog holes and the towing eye cover and though whilst i'm at it i would smooth the number plate recess and do it properly

so here is where i'm upto at the minute:

chopped out the number plate recess because the top corners off it are raised from the rest of the bumper and don't look right if left when smoothing the bumper

then using a vt rear bumper i cut a section out of it, i have done this so the swage line will match right across the bumper and the top of the vt rear bumper is close in shape to the front bumper meaning less filler will have to be used which cuts down on likelyhood of cracking/sinking

after abit of trimming it fits quite well into the hole that has been left from removing the number plate recess, will just need a tiny bit of bending on the upper part but this will be done when i plastic weld it in

thats where i am upto due to having to go to work but i will keep updating this thread as i go along, maybe people can then use it as a how to/guide to do the same

well done for having a go
i know experienced bodywork people that HATE smoothing the recess as its so tricky/time-consuming
