Berlingo DTurbo
wanted to do one of these for a while..never got round to it! bought a berlingo a few month back, followed by a 306 XTDT a few weeks later..then they both sat about lol
got bored of looking at them both so i got them in the unit yesterday to start some work!

Do you know much about tuning these engines? I've produced many around the 170bhp mark.
Why don't you like 306's?
Oh, and that Aston looks Plasti Dipped. Did I give it away?

got a few mates who are bang into them mate, tuned a few around the 200bhp mark so the help on that side be ok... leaving the lucas pump on it for now as my car is the main priority for the summer..just want this on the road as the tax is running out and its a waste sat there..plus itll be good advertising piece for my business when its done
but yeah its getting plasti dipped... ive read a few of your threads a while back, some nice work. you love them dont you?, just find them an arse to work on tbh...every 306 ive ever worked on has totally rotten/rounded ball joint bolts, the mani studs off the turbo elbow are always seized and are a pig to get to with the subframe on. the drivers shafts never seem to come away with the engine in the car, daft things really
its not so bad if youve got a ramp...but i aint haha

Fuel pump started pissing out on way to Leicester.. Killed my alternator (only just replaced the bastard aswel). Though ahh shit but you only need a live to the pump for them to run, so thought I'd get home swapping the battery with the Porsche I was collecting.. Picked it up and got to Nottingham before it shit itself
I thought it had sprayed allover the timing belt and stripped the teeth off it but after buying a donor truck for the engine and pulling the lump out.. When got covers off the belt was fine. So I've robbed the fuel pump off the donor truck and new belt + water pump I'm just about to put the lump back in a cross my fingers lol

Anything wrong with the 306? other than not having an engine in it now. What are you going to do with that?

Cheers Martin, recovery now fixed *touches wood*
The 306 is a bit of a shed mate.. It's getting robbed of a few bits and weighed in

We're here, we're all just too tight to pay for a recovery truck.. Rather throw £20 at a mate and let them ruin a clutch dragging our cars home!

Here, I towed a BMW 3 series with my 106 GTi. Clutch didn't even slip
Did start to peel the towing eye off though
