Default hiya all new guy :)

hey all bought my first saxo woop woop and love it its a VTR 99 model 99k on the clock in poseidon blue been chiped (or so the last owner says).

two little problems loud clunk when going over bumps/ turning the wheel been told it might be the pass drop link as the last owner only replaced one side anythoughts?.

second is sometimes on start up it wont start unless i give it some gas and only sometimes when slowing down/stoping the revs will drop low then bounce back up then drop again like its hunting any ideas thanks all

will upload pics once its been washed lol

for the clunk could also be cv joint & revs do you have an aftermarket air filter on there? mine use to do it due to a whole in the air filter.

check ur air filter mate, i had exactly the same, which was down to a whole on the air filter due to it rubbing on something. Also cv joint can be a clunk too.

Get some pics up

that'l be ur prob then mate, if theres any air leaks within the air system, engine will run shit when cold. also your petrol consumption will be through the roof

you need:
vts engine
exhaust manifold
loom
ecu (unlocked) costs bout 65 pound to unlock
water pipes + rad
top engine mount near ecu

you can use vtr box and shafts also 2 of the engine mounts are the same beetween vtr and vts
