Default lowering front help

right going to attempt swapping springs over on front for 40mm drop ones . i have read the tutorial on it but what i am wondering is . is it possible to do with without removing the shock completely? can i not just take anti roll bar away and remove it from top? and have it comeout of arch and undo it there ?

Unscrew the nut on the hub first whilst somebody presses on the brake then take the whole lot off the car and change the springs.
Much easier when it's all out.
