Fog Lights
Two parts to this.
Am I right in thinking that it is illegal to drive around with you fog lights on when they are not necessary? I'm pretty sure that is the case.
And now the second part. If it is illegal, how come new cars now have fog lights that activate when turning a corner? Surely it isn't necessary and therefore illegal? Now I know that it could come under safety but then that'd make all older cars "unsafe" as they don't have the feature.
Just something I was thinking about yesterday

1. You can get a £30 fine for having your fogs on if it is not foggy.
2. They aren't fog lights, they are 'driving lights'.

If they're "driving lights" then where are the fog lights? There's no other lights on the car.
