lowering.
After a bit of advice really,i want to lower my vtr but im no mechanic and im no wizz underthe bonet,wondering a average price for lowering is and what springs are a good idea,ruffly a price for the lot. Im in the yorkshire area if anyone knows any gd places? Many thanks josh.

theres a couple of folks on here that have lowered hundreds of saxo's. providing you get the springs/dampers you want, theyl do it for you for a small fee

Obviously i can't help you 'cos im miles away but the 'Average price' of getting your car lowered is between 90 and 130 quid. You'll find that if you go to someone who knows what they're doing then it's cheaper.
For the components, you could pickup brand new springs for £60 ish, or a lowering 'kit' for about £220 which includes springs + better shocks.

+1 to kris, we charge £110 to lower front and rear if you provide springs/dampers. heard stories of people being quoted £300 just to lower the beam by some garages, usually ones that are scared of torsion bars lol

+1 i got quoted nearly 300 to lower mine haha, so i got it done from someone of here for a good price

best bet is to lower it by 50mm and get some one on here to do it! as they are friendly and do it for a great price!
