195 45 15 vs 195 50 15
I need to change my tyres on my vts as they are all different makes I have some nearly new yokahams but the area 50 instead of 45 can't see why I can't use these I know the speedo will be out but not to worried about that any other reason I can't run these

you can but it might rub. I had 195 50s on mine as 888s only come in that size.
You can make a fair old saving too by going 50 profile, some online retails are doing 4 T1Rs for 140 quid in 195 50

It's standard hight at the moment put all striped out so sits high I'm dropping it 35 mm all round just waiting for my new shocks before I drop it
Will put the 195 50 15 on as they are nearly new only done 2k on my rs so like new no point in spending £150+ if they are just sat there can get them fitted free so no big deal if they do rub I will just have to get some 45

I had 50's and as above they rubbed on full lock and the rear would rub when giving it the berries on proper bumpy roads, other than that it was fine though.
Not sure what height the saxo was at but definitely lower than standard.
You'll be fine.

T1Rs here in a 50 profile.
Absolutely fine at the rear, a little rub on the front at full lock. No issues on track or the road. Mine is a bit lower than standard too.
