BMW 330ci Msport
Hello all; my new car, thoughts?
It has been lowered on Koni coilovers ( according to previous owner ). It has spacers, that I was not aware of until the service it just had, in which they saw the bolts had not been changed to longer replacements which is pretty dodgey, that has been sorted now. Inside it is completely standard and the car is on 107,000 miles. It runs well although due to mostly town driving the mpg is not too good ! It is the Msport version, although I prefer it without the M badge on the front so that has been removed.
Plans are not plentiful due to the car being a lot more than the saxo, upgrades are obviously significantly more expensive as well ! I have pressed plates ready to go on though and in the future I would like new alloys and more noise! It makes a good sound, but I want more from the big 3.0 straight 6 !
Cheers.

First thoughts are that it's a straight 6, not a V6. Hope this hasn't ruined your ownership experience...
Second thoughts are as nice as they look etc, I'm not a fan, but good brand choice and I hope you enjoy it!

I do love an E46. Was going to get one myself but the diesels fetch more than I could afford at the time.

You'll only keep wanting more as well by the way. Next you'll be looking at a V8, guaranteed.

I agree, certainly one of the best shapes I'd say. Yeah I can see the appeal of the diesel looking at my mpg so far !

I've been getting about 22 mpg, but on a motorway run I can get 27. That is town and lane driving, stop and start a lot, I can also have a slightly heavy foot..
Ha I know ross! Already found that out.
Its a superior car to the VTS, but I do miss my old one!

Lift the boot carpet and make sure there's no cracks in the boot floor.
MPG is about right, I was getting 23 average with a heavy right foot. They don't go sideways very well as they have an open diff. Lots of smoke, no angle.
Never been a fan of silver cars but it looks in good shape.
