In or Out ?
I know Sax-p is the cornerstone of the politcal debate and politicians come on here and hear our expert opinions so....
What are people voting for?
Myself have no fucking clue in which way to vote and tbh its winding me up.
I think either way we're fucked!

wheres everyones car parts made and are you happy for the prices to increase. That answers the question for car enthusiasts.
I was on the fence and unsure of the effects this would have on my business until I watched this video. Then the gravity of the effects sank in. I learned a lot about how the EU is set up and the potential logistical effects of exiting the EU. No doubt we can stand tall on our own but there are some big economic losses to counter the gains we will make after years of negotiating trade deals outside of europe. I dont want those losses. 2009 is still too vivid in my memory and we are only just pulling out of a recession. I need free trade to keep european goods low and for me to sell to Europe. We cannot have that with Farage's idealistic views. He will damage business to stop EU migration and will mean we cannot join the EEA. Thats scary for business owners and will have a bigger impact on jobs than migration does. Watch the video and forget the political brain farts of the official campaigns. Vote leave and vote remain are not giving correct information about where we are now, and where we will be if we leave. It would be nice to stick two fingers up at the EU but there will be consequences.

There's little doubt that there would be a short term hit from leaving. The EU will try to make an example of us and the couple of years of negotiating will be hard work. I truly believe in the long term we would prosper though. The initial effect will lessen when the EU gets off their high horse and we would be able to strike a deal similar to the one the Swiss have. At that point we should be substantially better off with a better forward outlook for growth. I think the initial hardship is worth the potential long term gains.
Then there's immigration and forward looking financial issues. This, to me, is exacerbated by the next five countries lined up to join the EU - Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey - These are all countries with poor economies. That inevitably means they will be net receivers from the EU pot and as an extension means our net contribution will continue to rise to fund these countries (along with all of the current net receivers such as Greece, Portugal, Ireland etc). I'm a bit fed up with the EU pulling these sorts of countries in when they know full well they will contribute nothing and be a drain on other members resources. Of course, along with low performing economies comes the will for people to emigrate to find the greener grass. Further immigration increases mean even more needs to be found in state support so it's a further knock on effect.
After sitting on the fence for quite a while and weighing up the possibilities I've decided to vote out. I truly believe the long term gains will outweigh the short term issues. Just my 2 pence worth.

I voted out by postal vote 2wks ago,it's time this country took back control of it's borders. It's not only that it's the vast sums sent to the EU,the unelected bureacrates on vast salaries. The eu will be broken up soon anyway as other member states hold referendums.

China, which unless they have changed the boundaries is not part of Europe unless they want to host the European F1 GP.
I'm still on the fence, I do believe that we would be better off out of it, but I think we would have 5 years of pain to do it.
Europe despite what they say cannot survive without the UK, they NEED us to be able to sell to, you have concerns over trading tariff's but they send more goods into the UK than we export to them, how can they put import taxes on our stuff as we can just put import taxes on theirs.
The real problem is nobody knows what will happen, & the weak willed toffs that we have supposedly running the country currently have no idea. Coming from the North & a mining community, I despise Margaret Thatcher with a passion, but I wish she was here today to whip this bunch wets into line.
The debate on this matter has been disgraceful, exaggerated claim with exaggerated counter claim from both sides, the blatant lies, this will happen if we leave, this will happen if we stay, nobody knows, this has never happened before to any other country.
In the end we will stay, as the xenophobia that has been stirred frightening people into voting stay, but as said I do not think it's the best/right choice for the UK

As the beginning of what I predicted, the pound has slumped. Off to get the last tank of cheapish petrol before that goes up and stays there.
