Default Vts/Gti engine in a vtr

Hi, i have a saxo vtr 3 plug ecu and want to convert to a gri or vts engine. Ive seen a gti engine with a single plug ecu for sale and was just wondering would it be a straight swap orwould i have to splice the loom or change interior loom? Because i have a full cage in the car that is not possible to remove in which case i cant get the dash out... Any help appreciated and also just out of interest i have a c2 vts sat at home and just wondering how much hassle it is to put that engine in the saxo.... Thanks

Not a straight swap, ideally you want a 3 plug engine for a straight swap and less faffing. Otherwise you need to splice the loom
