Website they used is notoriously wrong. Plus every saxo 1.4 furio is now a vts swap.

Only ever caught the first couple of episodes in the series - refusal to subscribe to Amazon or be bothered to go and 'find' a copy of it makes sure of that.
I do wonder what the viewing numbers must look like for them and how they compare to their expectations.

Howmanyleft website is a reasonable guideline. In fairness to the creator it's not his fault that the figures aren't 100% accurate. It can only be as accurate as the data which is available from DVLA.
I've been collecting data now for about 6 months of any known VTS that pop up, and it is obvious that DVLA original registration data is inaccurate for some cars. A Saxo VTS should be labelled as that but there's several that are only described as Citroen Saxo yet the chassis number does confirm it's model.
It also takes into account only cars that are either taxed or SORN. There's more than 10 that I know of whereby the owner hasn't bothered to do either so it's just down as tax expired. Howmanyleft won't be privy to those 'lost vehicles'
So far I've collected details of
24 Pre facelift Mk1
21 facelift Mk1
67 Mk2
It's a small number but a good portion

It's a really good program, here in Spain it has been a success!

It's pretty much like top gear before, but it does look like having a bigger budget behind it. They could do away with some stuff, like the dying celebrities and the sit on chairs and chat stuff.

Only managed to catch 2 episodes out of the whole series.
In fairness that's two more than i'd imagined i'd bother going out of my way to catch - I guess I just prefer my telly watchable without having to steam it. Too stuck in my ways for anything else really!

Seen the full lot and saw them in Whitby, well saying that we saw the tent. I like it there is nothing else on tv like it everything else is so dramatic and about deadlines and who's fighting with who. It's nice to have 3 mates take the piss and do it in good cars.

To be fair, a furio with a vts swap won't be classed as a vts, so its irrelevant how many vts conversions there are as people are only interested in genuine examples when it comes to looking at 'how many left figures'
Some times I wish I had kept my vts, but i have much more of a connection to my 16v vtr, plus the vts was a mk2...
What i'd do to have an early mercury grey vts though, amber indicators, no spoiler, prefacelift grille etc
