Default Cleaning Under Seats ...

Hey guys

i was just reading someones progress thread (think it was ammies) and they took out the seats to clean under the runners aswel.

I want to do this coz i keep dropping crap dwn there and it looks dirty aswel, but i understand you gotta undo the pretensioners .... if i do this and put them back together, will it fook about with the airbags?

no, shouldnt have any problems

if you drive with the seats out, the airbag light will come on, but airbags will still work.

clip the pretensioners back in, and all will be fine

yeah it all works when you plug back in when i changed my seats to vts ones the air bag light flashd when the pas seat wasent in but as soon as it was in and pretensioner was plugd in the light went str8 out

Yeah should have no problems at all as stated above, just disconnect the battery, leave it for 10 minutes, and then undo the pretensioners

ive done it plenty of times without touching the battery and never had a problem..

wikid. I got the airbag light sorted, was problem with the wire under the passengers seat, but its all cool now.

Are the seats easy enough to take out? they simply screw off?

4 Torx bolts i on the runners i think,
Dont hold me too that but you will see the ones you need to take out when you look at the runners

Nah your have no problem, jus ttake out the bolts, 2 either side, 4 intotal and un plugged the pretensioners, should only take about 10 mins. i just done today and found 4.49p!
